Tschick

This is book is highly regarded anywhere. And rightly so. The story is actually not so important, it sounds rather dull if you recount it. But the two teenage-boys are so beautifully put on stage, and in all their craziness with the stolen car they meet only nice adult people who help them. The whole story is set in an illegal context but brings out the best of everybody. It is absolutely amazing how this teenager story touches the hearts of adult readers.
