The short summary: a book about the immobility bubble in Spain. But not about the political mechanisms behind it, it is more what effect had the attached corruption on those directly or indirectly involved. Matias Bertomeu died of cancer and is is about to cremated. His friends and relatives start to reflects on their own lives. His brother says towards the end of the book: “… Así es la vida. Uno acumula saber como las urracas, oyes miles de discos, lee libro tras libro, ve cientos de programas de televisión, hojea milliones de revistas a lo largo de la vida, piensa, se informa, y luego se muere, y seguramente, si le queda un hilo de luzidez, piensa también en todo el tiempo que ha perdido.”
