For several weeks it was in the bestseller list in Germany. Unbelievable but true: a philosophical work achieved his. I am still surprised. The young author writes intelligently, entertainingly, and always profound about our personality. – Starting with an excursus into history and the different approaches to get a grasp of the problem of the self. Some think now that we are a sum of different personalities (which doesn’t mean a schizophrenic split-up into many) – therefore teh funny title: Who Am I–and If So, How Many?
Later he treats themes like morale and if we are born with one, to what degree, which experiments point to this direction. This is all pretty enlightening and free of any unintelligible words, which philosophers usually employ to confuse their readers – creating their own aura.
